Three beautiful conch shells that were homes to sea creatures. Conchs are found along the Atlantic coast beaches and oceans. Painted on hand made rag paper from cottage industries in India. Pale, pastel image derives from the highly absorbent rag paper.
About Doris Blessington
Also known at Ting Blessington, lifelong nickname with which I sign my paintings. I have painted in oils, acrylics and watercolors, and recently concentrating more on watercolors based on the wonderful serendipity of the medium and plein air painting and sketching which is a work in process.
